Coordinator of Digitalization, Innovation and Communication at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos

An expert in Digital Transformation, Innovation, and Leadership from MIT, he holds a Law degree from ICADE and a Ph.D. in Law with Highest Honors from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, with a doctoral thesis on venture capital. He also holds six Master’s degrees and an MBA.

He began his career as a lawyer in the venture capital department of the law firm Linklaters. Since 2007, Antonio has been a partner at his own law firm and has worked as a professor and keynote speaker at numerous universities and business schools such as Centro de Estudios Garrigues, Sagardoy Business & Law School, and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. He has also been a guest speaker at Harvard Law School and MIT, where he serves as the Coordinator of the Professional Certificate in Legal Tech in the Digital Era, both in Spanish and English.

Accredited as a University Professor, he has twice been recognized as the Best Commercial Law Professor in Spain by Todojuristas and has received numerous awards for his work as an entrepreneur and economic leader in Spain. He led the Spacetechies project as CEO until January 2023—a project that won the 2022 National Technology Award in the “Education” category.

Since January 2022, he has also served as the Business Development Director at Chiara, a Virtual Reality simulator with Artificial Intelligence that helps improve public speaking and presentation skills. In January 2023, he was appointed Coordinator of Digitalization, Innovation, and Communication at the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Finally, he is the author of eleven books and over 110 publications in Commercial Law, Digital Law, Tax Law, and Administrative Law. His most notable works include the monographs Metaverse and Law and Innovation Contracting.
